The animals would be hiding from the rain and trying to get as much sunlight as the plants. If you think about the Amazon Rainforest then the animals would be getting the sun and would be up in the emergent trees. The animal life would be different because of the weather. The only animals found in equatorial climate would be things like: parrots, snakes, monkeys, elephants, shrews, cats, squirrels, otters etc. Animals would have a different life to animals in Britan.
