How is the big-crunch theory related to the big-bang theory?

Answer:
It's sort of the other end of time equivalent.
IF (and only if) the mass of the universe is great enough to overcome the outward velocity of the galaxies (and everything else) so that the expansion of the universe stops AND begins to fall in on itself,
then everything will come back together again - in a big crunch.
However there is NO data supporting this and quite a bit refuting it.
