if you have a curved nose ring thing, you just pull it down, and twist it while pulling until it comes out. it'd be better for you to do if you've had it pierced for about three months, because it could swell up and make it hard to put back in, which will result in you having to let it close, or go to the piercer to have them put it in for you, and they may charge you for it. if you have a curved nose ring thing, you just pull it down, and twist it while pulling until it comes out. it'd be better for you to do if you've had it pierced for about three months, because it could swell up and make it hard to put back in, which will result in you having to let it close, or go to the piercer to have them put it in for you, and they may charge you for it.

its usually just a gun (like a ear piercing gun but less brutal) =) they clean the skin on your nose, mark where they are going to pierce it and use a nose gun to pierce. its very quick and there is no backing on the nose stud it's a small spear head. and in case your wondering it doesn't hurt at all!

good luck.xx

What you really need to know is that it hurts. A lot. But the pain only lasts for about a minute or so and it is well WORTH IT. You need to keep your nose piercing really clean- clean it with ear care solution (or whatever your piercer gives you) twice a day and NEVER touch the piercing with dirty hands before it has healed. Clean your hands with soap and then dry them. Also, DO NOT take the piercing out before it has healed (mine took about 6 months, then i changed it) otherwise a keloid could form or a hypertrophic scar. A hypertrophic scar is a small red bump, which can form on either side of your piercing (this has happened to me with my tragus piercing, so guys just don't take the piercing put before it has healed!!!)

Even after the piercing has healed and you have taken the piercing out to change it, it will always hurt. This is normal, so dont be worried.

If you do all this, than your piercing and after care experience should go well. Even though this piercing really does hurt, it is really really worth it and it looks great :)

Also people wonder if it hurts to sneeze when you have cold with a nose piercing. The answer to this is no. It doesn't hurt at all once it has healed when you sneeze, its just like you haven't got it pierced.

Like other facial piercings, the piercer will stick a needle through a tube on the spot where you want the hole.

you have to be at least sixteen to get your nose peirced however some studios have different age requirements so it would probably be best to call and ask!
