How is trees important to the environment?

Answer:
Trees are the main supplier of the Earth's oxygen, and if it weren't for trees it would be impossible for many of the living organisms of this world to survive. Trees also gain most of their nutrients from the sun and minerals and water in the ground, so that when they die, they release an abundance of resources that allow many new plant and animal species to live.
