Toshiba does not specify a maximum size hard drive for this laptop. Based on its age / date of manufacture, it was probably built around the time of the 2.1 GB barrier, and thus is already equipped with the largest possible drive usable under most operating systems.

The Toshiba A10-S127 Satellite laptop can take up to at least a 100Gb hard drive as per toshiba's upgrade page. Here is the link to it: http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/afin.to You just have to fill in your model number and it will show you the results.
A recovery disc for a Toshiba Satellite C655 can be made by loading the recovery program inside of Windows. It allows discs to be burned using an image stored on the hard drive.
Are you replacing the HD or do you want to SWAP with OS installed on BOTH????
It does not have a CD/DVD drive so there is no need for an eject button.
There should be a recovery partition on the hard-drive. There is on mine !
Presumably by size you mean capacity? The BIOS determines how much hard drive memory your computer can address so if you are upgrading your hard drive I suggest you check Toshiba's website and download the latest BIOS for your machine.
From toshiba's website on a Satellite laptop specs: DVD-SuperMulti drive (+/-R double layer) supporting up to 11 fomats
The laptop should have come with a DVD, labeled as the "Toshiba Recovery Disc." Place this disc in your DVD drive and restart your computer. OR IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE DISK/S just go to ezrestorepc.com for all your recovery needs from many different brands including the toshiba one :-)
Yes, it looks like you can. You need a CD burning drive to do this, which it looks like is included as standard equipment with this laptop.
