Some women believe they know it right away. Others say they start to feel symptoms within the first few weeks. The most reliable symptom is missing your period. If you are more than a few days late for your period, take a pregnancy test.

Implantation (when the fertilised egg burrows into the uterus wall) needs to occur before your body starts producing the hormones of pregnancy that give you symptoms. This is usually a few days after ovulation but can be pretty much immediately if the egg was already descended far enough. The confusing part is, pre menstrual symptoms can be very similar to early pregnancy symptoms so you could be guessing at symptoms that don't mean anything unusual! The most suspicious symptom, worth getting a pregnancy test done, is missing your period - before that, its just guessing and worrying.

Many women begin noticing slight symptoms within a day or two of implantation, which usually occurs 7-10 days after conception (not necessarily the same as 7-10 days after sex!). That means symptoms will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period.

The pregnancy hormone, HCG, is not present in the bloodstream until after implantation, and can be detected by an early home pregnancy test as soon as 10 days past ovulation if pregnancy has occurred. After implantation, some women begin to feel the typical signs of early pregnancy -- sore breasts, slight nausea, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, increased sense of smell, and weight gain. etc. It's really very different for every woman. Having no early symptoms is normal, but having several is normal, too.
you can start feeling them as early as three weeks

2 weeks at the earliest

Your symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include missed period, tender/swollen breasts, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, increased sense of smell, and weight gain.

Some people dont have symptoms at all but most women get symptoms at least for the first 2 months like vomiting,nausia,cramping,headaches...

You notice them once the hormones produced by the implanted ovum are high enough to effect the way your body fuctions. Its different with every woman and every pregnant. Usually though its about the time that you would start your period.

It really depends on the woman, a woman can feel it the moment the egg burrows into her uterus, like myself have felt within about one week after concieving and have alot of cramping, really tender n sharp pains and swollen breasts, and vaginal pains way more and way different than usual pms or period symptoms and also nausia and upset tummy alot and i even cried 2 days in a row for no reason, not like me at all except when i was pregnant last 3 times! but with one of my pregnancies i didnt have symptoms until i was about 4-6 weeks along, i remember cause it was when i had my first ultrasound i was having nausiating tummy but my breasts never hurt til i was in my 3rd trimester with my other pregnancies, so it really depends on each womans body, all you can do is wait hun i kno it sucks to hear but its true, at about 8 days past conception you can get a blood test at your doctor to see if you are pregnant i did with my 1st pregnancy at 8 days along and it was possitive=] and at 2 weeks alon past ovulation u can take a home urine test to se if ur prego,

good luck and blessings=] chassy k

Can the feeling of being pregnant be all in your head?

your body can give you signs or symptoms of being pregnant when in actuality you are not pregnant. there have been occurences where an embryonic sac develops in the uterus without the presence of an embryo, and the body will then also give the symptoms of being pregnant. an individual should have an examination done by a physician to determine whether or not they are pregnant. at times there may be other concerns that should be taken care of that also give signs or symptoms of pregnancy.
