It all depends on how much alcohol you have consumed. The amount of alcohol in your blood is what makes you drunk because it is circulating through your brain. Given time your liver will process your blood and remove the alcohol as a waste product. The liver can only handle so much at a time, when it has enough to be getting on with the shutters come down for a while. The remaining alcohol continues to circulate round the body and through the brain. That is why it can take as much as 24 hrs to sober up because its a little at a time. Your worries are not over yet, as the alcohol level begin to subside other parts of your body have adapted themselves to being washed in alcohol and complain about the lowered levels. This is commonly known as a hangover and we all know how it feels, this is how dependance begins. Makes you wonder why we do it?
Depending on how your body reacts to alcohol, you might not even get drunk off of one beer.
2 hours
for a toddler 3 days for any one else 1 week
No, drinking just one beer is bound to harm your body. But continuously drinking all day, everyday is not a healthy living.
None. You can be over the limit on just one beer.
Six O'douls are, in alcohol content, approximately equivalent to one can of 3.2-percent beer. (Ten of them are equivalent to one 5-percent beer like Bud is now.) For an average 150-pound person, drinking a whole six-pack of this product in one hour is like drinking one 3.2 beer in an hour. I'd be more worried about you getting sick from water intoxication than getting caught drinking, if you're drinking that much O'Douls.
"Redneck" typically refers to a rural white person with conservative views, often associated with southern culture. "Hillbilly" generally refers to someone from a remote, mountainous region, often associated with stereotypes of poverty or ignorance. Both terms can be considered derogatory by some individuals.
It depends how big you are and how used to drinking you are. I have a lady friend who can easily enjoy 2 bottles of Merlot and still seem fairly sober.
It is a tradition in parts of Europe that drinking beer increases breast size due to the hops which beer contains. This tradition has not been substantiated in modern times, but it remains a popular idea even if evidence for it has not been forthcoming. Hops remains a popular and common ingredient in herbal breast enhancement formulations. However, there is no proof that beer will increase breast size.
The rule of thumb is one hour for every drink. That is about how long it takes your body to metabolize the alcohol. A "drink" is one shot, one 4-oz glass of wine, or one 12-oz beer. If you have been drinking strong mixed drinks, it may take much longer.
Gambrinous means to be full of beer - a state that can sometimes lead to a night in the police cells to sober up.
Yes! They do. Here is a picture of them drinking a red bull.
One Perspective:It is bad.Another perspective:Drinking is not bad. Europeans have done it for centuries, since drinking beer was a safe alternative to drinking water on long journeys, since water fouls so quickly. If you drink wisely, it can even be good for your health.
I have psoriasis, it was bad when I was younger. I drink occasionally sometimes to excess. I never noticed new scaling from drinking beer. Its when I get into the hard stuff and put a good one on I have noticed extra scaling and even new spots only with heavily drinking liquor.
