This food can stay for several days past that date. Place food in the refrigerator in an air tight container. It will stay good in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Shrimp cannot stay out for very long before it goes bad. It is recommended that cooked shrimp stay out no longer than an hour and a half.
According to the Clemson University Extension article "Safe Handling of Seafood" cooked shrimp stays good in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
