How long will a driveway of concrete last in Louisiana?
How long will a driveway of concrete last in Louisiana?
It really depends how long the driveway is and what company u get it done by
87.5 cubic feet
five days
I just had this done - I was told to wait on average about 72 hours. But since it was real hot the week we had it done, we waited a week before we drove on just to be sure it was settled
Foxtail palms have non-invasive root systems that typically do not cause damage to concrete driveways. As long as the palm is not planted too close to the driveway and is well-maintained, it is unlikely to cause any lifting or damage.
Not nearly as long as you might think. First, you must decide that you want a heated driveway. Then just wait a little while for the seasons to change and before you know it, VOILA! the driveway is heated.
Multiply length times width. IF your driveway was 1 foot thick that would be the number of cubic feet of concrete. HOWEVER- it is only 4 inches thick. That is .33 ft (one third of a foot). So take your answer you got from multiplying LxW, and divide by 3. That will be the number of cubic feet of the driveway's volume.
Concrete hardens to 600PSI (Minimum) after 24 hours. This means that 5 three grown men could all stand on a pogo stick (if that were possible) who's base covers 1 square inch without harming the concrete. You walking with shoes on exert about 10 PSI, well below anything that could damage the new pour. Just don't drag anything heavy across it, or place anything with sharp points on it.
6 hours, unless it's super hot out, than I would double it. You shouldn't turn your wheels on it when the car is not moving though for 2-3 days.
