How long before testing should you use strip detox drink?

it should say on the bottle, some are to be drank two hours before, some 24 hours its they type of brand you by that decides that. check the label
if you are referring to the detox drink "STRIP NC" (from GNC $45.00) I took it at 10:30 am and waited 30-45 minutes before i started drinking water, i drank maybe 5-6 average size cups of water (atleast 12 fl oz each i would say)...I peed probably 8 times before i peed the final 9th time before taking my urine analysis (at a lab, not at the place of employment, so i know they checked it pretty good) at 1:35 pm is when i dropped...I've taken this drink twice and both times I've had successful results...a trick I've always done though (not sure if it is a waste of time or not) but i always get the darkest Gatorade (grape) and drink one of the larger bottles of it an hour before i take the UA...My reasoning behind this is to give my pee some color as well as attributing vitamins and minerals to my pee that has not been in my system for very long since i was peeing so often....happy trails peeps, hopefully i elaborated enough so you can mirror what I've done or atleast have an idea on what needs to be done
