I used to go fishing lots, and and it had been at least 2 years since I last opened my tackle box. When I did there were dead maggots in there which had obviously died last time I used the box. After having the lid open for about 2 mins the maggots came alive and started wriggling!!! After 2 - 4 years of being in there!! I might add there were no other organic food stuff in the box for maggots to continually feed on.
