You can. All you really need to do is keep it away from moisture and dry. Once damp, it can spoil. I use separate containers that are airtight that I keep my flour, sugar, cornmeal, corn starch, Rice, instant mashed potatoes, baking powder and baking soda in. If you freeze the powder, you still need to store inside an airtight container or else the powder will absorb the odors that are common in most freezers and taste bad when used in recipes.

Yes, but it would be unnecessary and inadvisable. Baking soda is inorganic and does not spoil, frozen or not. As a totally dry powder, baking soda is unchanged by freezing, but freezing could cause condensation of any water vapor in the container. That could negatively affect the powder's consistency and strength.

It is important to store baking powder in an airtight container to ensure it does not get damp from moisture in the air.

Freezing it will not help this, and may make moisture condense on it when it is opened for use, because it will be so cold relative to the air around it.

No need to do that. It's a mix of a couple powdered mineral compounds that does not have anything in it that can putrefy. Just like ordinary table salt or baking soda, if kept dry, baking powder would outlive us all !

Yes, you can, up to 2 years without damaging its structure. Keep it in the original packaging and air-tight and you are good to go!
