Because the hole in your lip is through muscle, and you use it a lot, it takes about 2 days for it to close up ,but this is just a estimation because my friends closed in about a hour and for me it was three days and mine was still open so it depends how long ago you percied it. However, if you leave it out for rougly 7 minutes or more the hole will start getting smaller around the edges or start to heal up from the inside. So you can't leave it out unless you're in the process of changing the piercing. If school won't allow it, use a clear lip ring or put it in from the inside of your mouth and leave the back out.
For your nose ring, it takes less for septum because you use that part more than a ring on the side of your nose. It should take about an half hour, well that how long it takes for me and when you take it out and in like an hour put it back in twist it because it will fill very tight.
the advice above already sounds good, but also i think it depends on how long you've had it pierced.
Maybe 8 hours tops after having the piercing for a year.
It all depends on the person. I got mine in 2008 and after about 5-7 months, I'm able to leave in out for WEEKS with the hole only shrinking but NOT closing.
It's really convenient because I'm over the piercing and I can wear it when I want to.
Usually with most facial piercings, the initial healing is 5-6weeks(which is why you should be told not to change ur piercing until this time is up). This varies of course depending on how often you clean it, and if your piercing gets infected, it will take longer to heal properly also.
about 2-3 weeks i would recommend a month
6 ~ 8 weeks is the standard light healing time, no piercing, lip or otherwise, is considered fully healed until it's a year old.
Removal of the jewellery before a year can result in loosing the piercing all together and you may need to see your local professional body piercer to have the piercing tapered open (much better than repiercing).
It really depends on your body. At first, don't do it longer than a few hours. When you put it back in it will hurt and be a little hard to get in but it works. I had mine for about six months before I could take it out without worrying. Now that it doesn't close up, I can leave it out for about a week before it gets a little tough to put back in. Good Luck!
If it's brand new, it should not be left out for more then two hours.
If it's not brand new, I say a couple days.
If you want to change it yourself, you should wait at least until it's completely healed. The other option is to have a professional change it for you if it isn't fully healed yet.
Depends on how long you've had it.
6 months
Pierce it.
To get a ring in your lip.
12 minutes
yeye
just stab urself with a ring and find out
Well pretty much as long as you have enough skin to pierce, you should be able to get one. I don't see why you shouldn't be able to.
Well the only way to put anything into a tongue is to use a needle to pierce the tongue first then put a barbell into the newly pierced hole. (Please quit calling it a tongue ring, it's a barbell and not a ring).

No way to be sure. Tongues tend to have a reputation for staying open pretty long though.
You only have to wait a week when inserting the first ring the first time. Otherwise, as long as it hasn't been more than a week since you had a ring in, there's no need to abstain or use a back up method during the first week.
A glass will leave a ring on the table because it drips water. This water gets under the finish of the table and leaves a ring.
yea, but it would look wierd, (depending on how big it is)
