Dr's don't allow you to carry a dead fetus for 6 weeks, they might let you have a little time to miscarry on your own, and if it didn't happen then they would medically or surgically complete the miscarriage, there is a risk of infection among other things if the dead tissue is allowed to remain inside the womb.

AnswerI recently had a miscarriage. I had prior signs. When I went to see the early loss clinic, they told me that I had 3 choices, wait for the natural miscarriage, the pill or a D&C. They told me the pros and cons of all. They said that the natural method can take a long time and can be emotionally hard if it takes a long time. They didn't say to me that it would eventually have to be taken out because of a risk of infection. There is risk of infection under all circumstances. Also, I was definitely almost 12 weeks pregnant and the ultrasound showed that the fetus had stopped developing at 5 weeks. That means the dead fetus was in me for 7 weeks. It is very common. (It happened to me with a prior miscarriage as well.) If the above comment is true (Doctors not allowing dead tissue in the womb) then they would have scheduled for me for an immediate emergency D&C in both cases. However, in both cases, I was told that I could either wait for the natural method that could take anywhere from a week to months, have a D&C or take a pill to help to expell the fetus. I had a complete miscarriage the next day.i miscarried in Aug 2010 i was 9 1/2 weeks and it was a mini fully formed baby in a clear bag . i found out i was pregnant in Jan 2010 and i am ment to be 9 weeks now and i had a early scan and they think I'm miscarrying again the yolk sac is about 5 weeks they said when i miscarry this it will look like a sac .

A fetus gets all of it's nutrition from their mother. The mother has all of the nutrients and passes them along to the fetus.

Bud's cousin was never mentioned in the story. As far as we know, he didn't have any cousins or family until he found Herman.
i just had a miscarriage recently my doc told me that there is always a 33% chance for every woman to miscarry and it doesnt mean that it puts you in a higher risk for having a misscarriage its always the same so dont worry it doesnt mean it will happen again
