A child needs his father, just as much as he needs his mother. Whether or not the child can see his dad, it will be an adjustment because both of the parents are considered security blankets, and if one is not their, there will be feelings of abandonment and who knows what will go through the childs head. The child can not go for very long without seeing his father.
Added: The above is "sociological" response to the question.
If the child is in another persons legal custody by the ruling of a court, the amount of time (if any) to be set aside for the child's visitation with the father will be set forth in the order. Any violation of that order by the custodial parent will be dealt with as a 'contempt of court' issue.
i am not sure but i know my dad was abused now sometimes he takes it out on me and his dad was abused so it is probably genes
"Dad, Uncle Joe's dead."
Parents teach children how to conform to the norms and values by using sanctions. For example if a child conforms and listens to his parents he will be given a postitive sanction being praised or be given status. If he deviates such as not listening to his mom or dad he will be sent to a naughty corner or be grounded.
Its very simple, actually. Each and every person on this planet has been through obsticals that have taught them things that they can now apply to everyday life. For example, me and my neighbor were having small talk, and whule refering to my step father, he would call him my dad, while I call him by his name. He says to me, "Why don't you call him dad?" and my reply was "Because his is not my dad, he is my step dad." So he told me the difference between a dad and a father: your father is the one who put you on this earth, but your dad is the one who rasied you. He shined some light on somthing that I have never realized, and it made me think of things differently.
Father's day is when you show appreciation to your dad. :)
Absolutely not!
1. move the phone as far away from the present as possible 2. Get a friend/sibling/anyone to prank your dad 3. hopefully he will be distracted for long enough for you to get to your present Hope works- did for me! =p
If the step-dad has or shares custodial authority, he can prevent the child seeing grandparents for any reason.
Not if he gets a court order for visitation. Both are parents and have rights to the child.
well technically they do seeing how mikan's dad was a teacher at the academy and natsume's dad was a student but mikan's dad wasn't around long enough to know natsume was born
yes he can.
Biologically a child can only have one dad.Legally a child can only have one dad.Socially a child can only have one real dad but it is acceptable for a child to also have a step dad, foster dad or other male carer while growing up provided that this male figure cares for the child and will be around on a long term basis.
Yes. A Child Called It did have a dad.
russell brand grew up in Grays in essex. he was an only child and with his mum and dad divorced and him never seeing his dad it was a hard life, his dad would send him money at theend of the month but that stopped after a while and his natioality is British.
Creepy!!!
I just found out tht my dad and step mom have custody of my son which I have not sign him over to them and my son lives with me I take care of him. What can I do?
Not without a court order. A child deserves both parents and a father, even a father with a problem, has a right to his child.
