How long did it take to invent TV? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Television was not an "invention" but rather it was developed over a period of about 10 years. It was a technology that spanned both here and abroad. The first TV's were not thought of as entertainment units but were envisioned to the medium for news and events. The transmission of pictures over the air goes as far back as France - 1922 by Edwin Belin - who held a patent for wireless transmissions. There are 2 people generally thought of as getting the credit for the "invention" one was an American born Russian Vladimir Zworykin, and Philo Farnsworth from Utah.
