Well ordering 15 mins a your average store eating while chatting around 30mins (if kid probs around 20 deppending on size of meal) they usualy have a chat after there meal 15 mins + .Also getting ready to go 5 mins.
So for a child around: 50 mins
For an adult around : 1hour
Really it does depend on wich restraunt you are in and in what city, town or county, what time of the day it is, and how happy or mad the customers are.

Generally, if it is your average 'ma and pa' restaraunt, 15 - 20 minutes is acceptable.
If it's a fancier restaraunt, you can expect a lengthy delay, depending on how busy it is.
Fast food shouldn't take longer then 5 minutes.
