It usually depends on your dog's personality that's why each dog is special. It depends how well your dog is trained based on its personality. It may take weeks sometimes days maybe a year or two and sometimes your dog only likes to be with YOU

∙ 15y agoSometimes they may never get used to a puppy. Puppies can be quite annoying for a older dog. Often they are not amused by a puppies playful behavior. Often the older dog will snap or growl at the puppy to let them know that they want to be left alone and the puppy will usually respect this.

∙ 12y agosomebody i know got a new puppy a while ago and she ( the puppy) had been in a different home for 2 weeks. when the puppy moved t her permanent home it only took her 4 weeks to settle in so i would say 4,5 or maybe 6 weeks!!
