Meaning if you open and close the door and let warm air in the shelf life will go down. More than 4 days is pushing it. The crust will tend to get soggy and it is a custard - which is highly perishable.

I disagree - You'll see mold on pumpkin pie if it's gone bad. I leave mine out until the second day and it's usually eaten by then. I've left it out of the fridge for up to 3 days.

∙ 14y agoThey are best used within a couple days. They could last longer, but the crust can get soggy and it can pick up refrigerator flavors. You should also remember that these are still a custard-based pie - and custards are highly perishable.
