From everything I've heard they last quite a while. I even had a friend tell me that they were just as bad as his withdrawls from oxy. I've read about some great taper plans that I've been meaning to try but haven't yet. Just Google it and you will find a plan that may make it easier for you.

∙ 11y agoYou can't immediately take Suboxone when on an opiate. If you are less than 12 hours from your last dose of opiates the Suboxone may cause severe withdrawal symptoms. Once you are stabilized on Suboxone, taking opiates will not lead to withdrawal, although the effects will be much more mild. THIS DOES NOT MEAN that you should take more because you don't feel the effects (of oxys, morphine etc) its still doing its damage, you just don't feel it!

∙ 12y agoI have been on suboxone for about 6 mths now and I take 3- 8mg films a day and I have been 3 days without it and never had the first withdrawal.
