I have been successful for 40 years cooking our turkey for 15 minutes per pound, at 325 degrees breast down on a rack, in a roasting pan, covered, dotted with butter..
Take off the cover for the last 1/2 hour and turning the turkey over, for the breast to brown, then take out of the oven, let it sit for 1/2 hour covered with a linen cloth.
We now have thermometers in the bird, so when it pops it is done, should solve any other questions you might have.
I also have a 16Lb (stuffed) bird and it seems like about 4 hours should do the trick.... that's what I'm going to do.
See the link below for cooking times and temps for turkeys.
About till half past 12 or 24 hrs.
One bag of stuffing mix will sufficiently fill a 16 lb turkey.
it takes 20 minutes per pound on a Holland Grill ..It will be the best turkey you have ever had !!

it is not necessary to boil the ribs but by doing so the ribs won't take as long to cook and they will retain more of their moisture.
