As long as your tush ;)
Anyone can have dreadlocks regardless of their race or heritage; as long as they have long enough hair, they can have dreadlocks.
w0000tt..... if the Asian got hair he certainly can?
No, but when you have dreadlocks it means you do not wash your hair
Yes it was real. Dreadlocks grow very fast.
he had them for 4 years and he backcombed his extremely long hair
Curly hair are usually the best kind of hair to make dreadlocks with. Short hair might be a problem though. If you want the thick dreadlocks to stay together, you have to have at least 5 or 6 inches of hair, and the longer it is, the better they will hold together. never use wax dreads thicken over time and can "congo" or grow together to thicken thin dreads to start can end up thick years down the road
Yes, of course they do. Dreadlocks are after all hair, and hair grows. However, as dreadlocks mature, they get tighter and tighter, thus causing the length of the locks to shorten. The extent they are shortened varies greatly in each person's locks: sometimes not even being noticeable; sometimes offsetting the length of the new hair growth at the root of the locks so that over long periods of time it appears that the locks have not grown longer.dreadlocks shrink for about 10 months then begin to grow and grow mine began at 3 inches 19 years ago and now drag on the ground
First of all, most dreadlocks will grow much slower than normal hair because the knots in dreadlocked hair tighten as they mature, which causes them to shrink a little. Second of all, everyone's hair grows at slightly different rates, but average is around 1/2 inch per month. It may take upwards of a year for dreadlocks to grow (lengthwise) more than an inch or two.wrong new dreads grow slow mature dreads grow much faster..8 inches a year for me (they are now 1 foot past the ground)
Dreadlocks are not from neglecting your hair - they are a hairstyle just as braiding or tying hair into a tail! Here is a link to an an excellent informational site about dreads.
Yes, although your hair will never be the same if you did get dreadlocks.
Regarding the history and origins of dreadlocks, yes, they are old. They are probably the first worn hair style. I imagine thousands of years ago the neanderthals had pretty knotty locks. Sinse dreadlocks can form from simply not combing your hair, it makes sense that people long long ago had dreadlocks. they have been around since history was recorded the earliest bible verses mention dreadlocks and the earliest civilizations wore dreads.
you should get curls or try braids
