for every mile you run you burn around 100 so the faster you run, the quicker you burn 500 calories. Also, if you run faster, it will probably be around 120 or 130 per mile. So I would do a full out run (not jogging, not sprinting) and towards the end of your run, do a burst of sprints in between jogs.

If your move faster then you then your will burn more calories. People can Burn 150 calories by running at a pace of 8 miles an hour for 10 minutes.

It depends on your BMI, BMR, how fast you run and where you are running.

On average however if you weigh 150 lbs and run for 8 minutes at speed of 10 mph - that should burn approx. 150 kcal.

You should run for 30-45 minutes to burn off approx. 250 calories.
