With medical care from an infectious disease specialist, an appropriate medication regime, and a healthy lifestyle you can expect to live a normal lifespan.
In this day and age many people can survive, and live close to a normal life when they have hiv. There is great technonlogy and medicines which can help those with hiv to live a normal life. Sometimes in bad cases people can die yound such as at the age of 20
they could live many years until the hiv virus turn into aids and once the aids get big in your body it shut down you insides and that will make u sick and also will cause death.

It depends on where you live and what treatments you have access to. If you live in the developed world and have access to antiretroviral therapies then you can live for much longer than if you don't.

If you are diagnosed, in the West, at 20 and put straight on medication you can expect to live for another 30 or 40 years before the illness becomes a threat to your life. Some reports even claim that HIV no longer reduces expected life span at all thanks to medication.

Unfortunately this medication is not routinely available in every country, and some places, like Africa, have seen average life expectancies plummet because of the number of AIDS related deaths that skew the statistics. It's worth pointing out that AIDS itself doesn't kill you, rather the fact that you have an Auto Immune Deficiency Syndrome means that your body loses the ability to fight off other infections, like pneumonia, bronchitis etc, that then become so powerful you die from them.

I'm sorry if this doesn't answer your question neatly, but it's not a neat illness.

Herpes will not affect your lifespan.

ANS2:It might shorten your lifespan drastically if you catch it and give it to your wife.
Herpes is not a terminal illness. Herpes is a common sexual transmitted disease that is incurable but treatable.
No, herpes will not make your life shorter. It will make you more susceptible to catching other STDs if exposed.

That would vary from person to person, but in most first world countries, the question is irrelevant. Syphilis is a bacterial STD that is easily cured with penicillin.
If left untreated, it will be 10 to 20 years before it becomes fatal.

Treatment for earlier-stage syphilis is a single injection of penicillin. Later stage syphilis may require a more prolonged course of treatment.

Can you spread herpes virus from one person to the other by towels and washrags?

No. Once you wash something the herpes virus is destroyed. It also doesn't live outside of the body for more than a few seconds. Herpes spreads through contact like kissing, having oral sex or intercourse with someone that has herpes.

Can you get herpes thru someone towel?

It is possible, but not likely. The infected person would wipe the infected area with the washcloth, and the uninfected person would need to almost immediately wipe it on themselves to catch the virus.Herpes is a sexually transmitted Disease, i believe it only travels in sexual fluids, if anything got on the wash cloth, the vector inside the fluid would probably be long dead. Dont take my word for it, ask a doctor, just my educated guess. You would have to use the wash cloth with in seconds of some one with herpes using it in order to have any chance of that happening.Herpes doesn't survive for more then a few seconds in open air or on objects.Possible but not likely. You would have to use the wash cloth with in seconds of some one with a break out of herpes using it. Herpes doesn't like to live out side of the body for more then a few seconds. The herpes virus is very fragile and dies quickly outside of the human body. But the virus will live for a while in moist environments. It is a good idea not to share wash cloths.Yes ma'am, absolutly. Why would you even do that. wash the cloth, come on now!

Can you get herpes by sharing drinks or lip gloss?

It's possible but not likely to happen. You would have to use the chap stick directly with in seconds after some one with a vsible cold sore used it. Herpes doesn't like to live for long periods of time on objects.

How long can live when you are having herpes?

Herpes will not affect lifespan. Almost everyone has the oral form of herpes simplex virus. Both the oral and genital forms integrate into our genomes after we are infected and will cause periodic outbreaks. As time goes on these will most likely become less and less frequent. Therefore people who have had genital herpes for decades will have fewer outbreaks in a year, or possibly none at all. This does not indicate that they have been "cured" or no longer have the virus as they are still able to spread the infection while asymptomatic.
