It really depends on your body. Most people say that once you start feeling withdrawal symptoms from the Suboxone, you can feel a high from other opiates. Others say you have to wait up to 72 hours for the half life of the drug to wear off.

Can you get sick if suboxone is out of your system for 24 hours and you take methadone?

No, you will not get sick. As long as the Suboxone is out of your system you will not feel any withdrawal symptoms.

What happens when you take methadone with suboxone in your system?

It probably depends on your usage habits. For instance, you likely would not get sick if you were to take 1 or 2 10mg hydrocodone after a dentist's appointment and then take suboxone a week later. However, since opioids can accumulate in your body, if you have had a steady habit for a long while it will take longer for them to purge out of your system.

I know you can't get high if taken orally but I know people that sniff them the same day they took a suboxone and they said they get high. Does sniffing an OC cut through the suboxone blocking effect?

no dont waste an OC until all of the blocker is out of your system. Suboxone is a blocker intended to prevent people from getting high off opiods. and OC's are opiods

Can suboxone get in your system by touching it?

No, suboxone cannot get into your system by touching it. This drug has to mix with your saliva or it won't be effective. You place it under your tongue for about 5 to 10 minutes until it dissolves.

How soon can Oxycodone be taken for pain after Suboxone?

Suboxone (buprenorphine & naloxone) can stay in your system up to 48 - 72 hours. As long as it's in your system, the buprenorphine and the oxycodone will be competing with each other for opiate receptors in your brain; thus reducing the effect of oxycodone. Best to wait at least the half life of buprenorphine (20-48 hrs.) before taking the oxy.

How do you pass a drug screen with opioids in your system?

You don't; that's the whole reason for the drug screen.

If you took suboxone 4hrs after percocete what will happen?

nothing you will be fine. The percocet is already mostly out of your system in about five hours. Just do not ever take suboxone and then take and kind of opiate pain relievers because you will get very sick.

I have been taking 8mg of Suboxone for 7 days straight and I need to know how long until the suboxone is out of my system since I have a urine test later this month?

suboxone has never showed up on my drug screens.

The fastest way to get suboxone out of your system?

The only way to take Suboxone is to dissolve it under your tongue. Swallowing it won't work, because it won't dissolve in your stomach. And don't even think about crushing it up and snorting it or smoking it; it simply does not work that way. You can do that with heroin, and it sort of works with Vicodin and oxycodone, but not with Suboxone. Furthermore, the maximum amount of Suboxone you can take at one time is 32 milligrams (four 8-mg pills). Taking any more than that will have no effect, so don't even try: it's just a waste of expensive medication.

If you took suboxone on Friday and had urine test the following monday would it show up?

Suboxone takes about 72 hours to leave your system. However, Suboxone does not show up as an opiate on a drug test, so I wouldn't worry about it anyway. They have to specifically test for it, and my doctor says they hardly ever do.
