It takes 12 hours after your last dose of Adderall for it to be "out of your system" meaning only trace amounts are found in blood and all other bodily fluids, regardless of dose. After 12 hours your brain begins to recover so you'll be able to sleep easily but cognitive functions won't be fully returned to the condition they were in before the 120mg until 48-72hrs after the dose. If for some reason your concern is a drug test, Adderall isn't detected in urine beyond that 1-3 days. If its restful and regenerativesleep you're after, which is more likely, then the aforementioned 12 hour mark is very accurate. It may seem like an exaggeration but from my experience its impossible to fall asleep, and stay asleep until approximately 12 hours after. This of course is with out the aid of other substances such as: alcohol, OTC sleep aids, marijuana, Ambien, Clonidine etc. - which tend complicate things further.

effects will wear off betwen 10-16 hours, and then you'll crash hard, being as that's a high dose. also, you wont sleep well the following night. .. which sucks.

as for its testibility, erowid says 36 hours minimum, but once i took 120mg and it tested positive for methamphetamine , this test took place 4 days after i took it... idk.

if you want to clear it out drink a lot of cranberrry juice.

Answer: 48-72 hours. Unless you take large doses (more than 50mg) or are taking it for a long period of time (several months to years) or even both then it probably will take longer.
Amphetamine (amphetamine and methamphetamine) is one of the "SAMHSA-5", the five drugs tested for in U.S. government-approved basic drug tests. Amphetamines are standardly detectable in urine for 1-3 days after use. Methamphetamines stay in the system slightly longer, 3-5 days.

The Amphetamine test is a one step competitive immunoassay that is used to screen for the presence of amphetamine in urine. It is a chromatographic absorbent device in which drug or drug metabolites in a sample compete with drug conjugate immobilized on a porous membrane for a limited number of binding sites. This test is a rapid, qualitative immunoassay for the detection of amphetamine in urine. The cutoff concentration for this test is 1000 ng/ml, as recommended by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The cutoff for GC-MS, which detects d-amphetamine and methamphetamine, is 500 ng/ml.

Hair Testing

Amphetamine is detectable with hair tests and is included in the standard set of substances tested for with these tests. Hair tests generally take the most recent 1.5 inches of growth and use those for testing. That provides a detection period of approximately 90 days. If an individual's hair is shorter than 1.5 inches, this detection period will be shorter.

Saliva Testing

In the past few years, new technologies have been developed which allow for saliva testing for the presence of Methamphetamine and its derivatives. We do not currently have information about what the detection period is for these tests.

However, there have been reports that detection period of saliva testing is about 3 days.

Also, there is one more method of testing the system for amphetamines:

Blood Testing

Blood tests are the most precise, but they are the most expensive, too. They are usually only aimed to determine the amount of Adderall you use, and whether you take it as prescribed, or overdose. Also, blood tests make it possible to distinguish dextro-amphetamines from levo-amphetamine, and in this way, determine if the person is using a single-salt dextro-amphetamine formulation (like Dexedrine or Vyvanse), or Adderall (which is a mixture of four different salts that includes the racemic levo-amphetamine salts). Detection period of blood testing is about 12 hours.
Instant release aderall usually stays in your system for only 3-4 days, depending on your diet and metabolism. because aderall is a stimulant your body processes it much faster than most prescription drugs. The extended release tablets however will stay in your system longer.

If you mean "how long will 15mg Adderall be noticeable in a drug screen?" the answer is, conservatively, 2-3 days. If you drink a LOT of water you can lower its presence under the NIDA cutoff for amphetamine testing by a bit...say 24-36 hours. It is eliminated pretty quickly though.

To be safe, say two days.

How long does 30mg Adderall stay in your system?

I am assuming you mean Adderall instant release in contrast to Adderall XR, which would be different. Adderall is excreted depending upon the PH of the urine, thus it depends upon what types of drinks one has consumed. But, in general, this dose would be gone within 30 hours.
