This all depends on if you are taking the right dosage that you need. People with Narcolepsy have different needs for this drug than people with ADD.
If it does not last long enough talk to your doctor about a dosage adjustment.

The exact time depends on your personal ability to metabolize the drugs - which is dependent on activity level, genetics, whether or not you have food in your stomach, and a variety of other causes.
