60 mg in one dose, is MEGA-BIG. 60mg is the MAX TOTAL per day. But I use Ritalin to feel energized, confident, social, productive, euphoric, alert, etc.
I take like 40-60 mg of Methyphenidate (Ritalin) 3-5 times daily....I LOVE IT!! :D
60mg would give you intense speed like high, and may last longer since it's a high dose, but the downside is that since it's a mega dose, your crash when it wears off will be more intense, then with lower doses. But thats when I take a bunch of Xanax when I'm crashing from my Ritalin.
If you want cocaine like effects, you have to take atleast 40mg of Ritalin in one dose... but i do 60mg and 80mg.

∙ 12y agoI took 30 mg. Saturday at 10 pm, and another 30 mg. at 10 am Sunday morning, and it is now 6 am Monday morning and I still can't sleep!! Everyone is different though.

Depends on the size of the pills, and if they were IR or XR (extended release). Anywhere from 6 to 36 hours.

I've tried Vyvanse (the "new" Adderall XR) and it had the same effect. What seems to work best for me (and my doctor knows of my previous substance abuse problem) is 3 20mg pills of Adderall IR distributed throughout the day. Totaling the max adult dosage of 60mg for IR. If I remember correctly, that is equal to the max dose of 30mg of XR. Yet, this way you can distribute your meds throughout the day, and even take half a dose when its evening time. Yet, doctors usually are aware that Adderall IR is easier to abuse.

Adderall XR lasts longer. The XR stands for extended release and lasts around 8-12 depending on the consumer, mg, & tolerance. Generic Adderall which is actually Adderall IR (Instant Release) only lasts for a few hours (about 4 depending on the mgs) because Adderall XR is made from 2 different "beads" which one type releases automatically n the other type releases in about 4 hours so in the end Adderall xr lasts about 8 - 12 hours. When you pay for the Adderall XR you are paying for the extended release feature. SO Adderall XR lasts longer than Adderall IR.

You can't pass the test. There is no easy way to cheat it.
Why is Adderall xr better than Adderall ir?
I have always prefered IR to XR, because I believe that IR works alot longer than 3-5 hours or whatever. And XR can build you up at the beginning and make you feel as though it's worn off which leads people to take more and that's always a problem. IR I believe kicks in and doesn't wear off for 8+ hours and doesn't really make you feel bad 2 hours after taking it. Not so much it's better, it depends on what you need to accomplish. A IR is best for doing alot within 4 hours, while XR's last around 8-10hours but felt less than it's IR counterpart.
Does Adderall come in tablet form or capsule?
No. The XR stands for extended release. Extended release medications work because it takes the acid in your stomach longer to digest part of the medicine in the capsule. It isn't possible to create a tablet that does the same thing.
Can adderall xr change the color of your urine?
Everytime i take adderall xr or ir it makes me urine orange or bright yellow....and it's not like that otherwise so yes i would say so...:)
