i got my belly button pierced a couple of months ago and when i first changed it it was sore for about 4 daiis or so, but it depends how long you've waited and what your body is like, but just make sure it doesn't get infected!
If you waited the standard one to three months then it shouldn't hurt at all unless you upped the gauge. If you didn't wait long enough then you probably just infected it and need to treat it as fresh piercing for the next one to three months. If you did everything properly you need to see your piercer as you may have done something wrong and twisted, pulled or otherwise injured your piercing.
Your navel piercing can remain sore for up to a week depending on how your body reacts to it, how well you take care of it, and whether or not it sustains injury. To avoid injury, wear long shirts, so that your shirts don't get caught on the jewelry, wear loose jeans, and avoid too much bending over for the first six weeks. I just got mine does yesterday and I bent over a few times and it stings so much, but then again I still have that band aid thing stuck over it but luckily I can remove it tonight. Can't wait to finally see my piercing.
No, it is the sign of an infection. You should visit your doctor A.S.A.P
I know this, as my daughter was stupid enough to pierce her own belly ... but the doctor treated it easily, so you should be fine.
When i got mine done - Mine only hurt a day and then after that it just felt awkward!
give it about a week or so it will be okay
Give it a week, then when you try listen to your body, if the piercing is tugging or sore ease off on that specific activity. Basically play it by ear.
A belly button piercing,or naval piercing,is basically a piercing on the belly button. It can take about 4 to 6 months to heal after getting pierced. The legal age to get one depends on what state you live in. Most naval piercings are done in tattoo parlors or places that specialize in body piercings.
It is different for everyone, for me it was really sore for the first day, then for about a week after it was painful to bend down. After that it was fine unless I knocked it.
The only part on my belly button was the inside my belly button, I used to be scared of needles bit its a Tad not sore.
only if you want it to be sore and itcy
have sore breasts on and off also hurts around my belly button?could this mean anything?
Yes. Its fine for it to be a bit sore
yes it is completely normal
The only thing that really works is LEAVE IT ALONE and wait.
It can feel sore as soon as you get up from the piercing table. Sitting down can be a pain, but leaning back can help that. Hope you find this usefull.
I have had my belly button pierced for almost two years now with no problems, but I have seen several of my friends belly button piercing's become infected and grow sores or bumps around or near the infected area. First, let me warn you- DO NOT POP THIS SORE OR BUBBLE! It will bleed and only cause it to grow larger. Second, the best thing you can do is go back to the piercer. Have them check it out and give you their advice. Perhaps you are not cleaning it often enough, or not cleaning it with the right tools. So to answer your question specifically, sores and bumps could clear up anywhere from two weeks to over a year, depending on how you handle the situation. Please be wise about this and seek out professional help!
