IN ADDITION:From 15-25 feet tall but this will kill the plant. The pear tree produces more fruit than the limbs will support. The best thing to do is keep it trimmed from 6-8 feet tall and this will keep it from splitting down the center from the weight.

∙ 14y agodid you but a grafted one from a nursery? if you did it should be 1-2 years old and will start producing fruit in 1-2 years, with luck it will then live for a good 80-100 years and still produse good fruit.
