My daughter is getting hers removed and I was told that the doctor's fee would be around $400 and the facility fee would be around $5000 to $6000 dollars. We have insurance with $800 deductible and then pay 70%. Once insurance negotiates facility fee down about 50% our out of pocket would be between $1500 and $2000. BCBS of NC estimates are very similar.

www.nwentsurgerycenter.com

At Northwest ENT Surgery Center in Atlanta, Georgia, we are an independent specialty surgery center, we are able to offer a unique all inclusive cash price option for ENT surgery. Cash pricing gives those with no insurance or anyone choosing not to use insurance a reasonably priced option for outpatient surgery. Anyone with a high deductible insurance plan or coinsurance should consider that fact that thousands of dollars may be saved by choosing our cash option. The procedures performed at our outpatient center are relatively short and straightforward with minimal recovery or travel restrictions.

Accurate, fair pricing for surgery in the United States is not easy to find. While hospitals and other surgery centers may discount facility fees for cash, the actual price remains high and does not include fees for the surgeon, anesthesiologist and any other services billed separately. Our center is unique in that the posted price is all-inclusive and guaranteed.
