The average life span of an iPod Touch is a few years, but if you take good care of it, 5 years (and possibly longer). Though iPod Touches have been known to crash, taking good care of it will prevent this.
all depends on what you do... wifi and playing reduce the battery life to some 6-6 1/2 hours
if used for music only it can last 25+ hours
on videos and movies can last some 8+ hours
the bright of the screen have a lot to do with battery life, a lower bright level will make your battery last longer. my recommendation turn of wifi while not in use
According to official apple figures:
Ipod Touch
1st Gen: 22 Hours(Audio), 5 Hours(Video)

6 hours playing music
About 3-4 hours.
generally 4-5 years, but the battery life is 36 hrs, to make the battery go up a little takes less time then it takes to make it charge fully

What are the names of the games that came out last year from the iPod touch in a commercial
A year or two. But my iPod touch 2g is still going after 3 years of hardcore use.
Of course the v touch is just a cheap version and i advise you to save up for an ipod touch instead of a rubbish cheap v touch, a ipod would last longer.
