First you need to figure out how much alcohol is in the beer. A 12oz can of 5% beer contains 0.6oz of pure alcohol (12/0.05=0.6). You can then use the following formula to estimate your blood alcohol concentration.

%BAC = (A x 5.14/W x r) - .015 x H

A is the amount of alcohol you have consumed.

W is your weight in pounds.

r is the alcohol distribution ratio which for men is 0.73 and for women is 0.66.

H is the amount of time since you started drinking.

Keep in mind that you should never use this formula to figure your intoxication. The formula is a guide only, and your individual situation may cause your BAC to deviate from the amount you calculate using this formula. Don't drink and drive!

While alcohol does in fact get expelled through an individual's urine, urine tests do not give a good indicator as to how impaired someone is. When it comes to testing for how intoxicated from alcohol an individual is, blood tests or breathalyzers are the much better suited.

Beer and Alcohol can not be found in a Urine Sample however, if they get to you quick enough it may still show up in a blood sample.
