there is a date on the package..check it. The standard rule of thumb is one week after it's opened.
Well , Depending on what dip your talking about, dips in general can last up too a year or more . For example if you have an onion dip or an garlic dip it can last a while and also most store bought products do have best before or expiry dates . Best before means that after that date its still good but not as fresh and expiry date means that you probably should consider going to buy a fresh product .

Refrigerated notwithstanding, I wouldn't trust it past three days.
People think i can be damaged in only two to six days that is what thy think but the ranch dressing can stay in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 weeks and it wont get damage ( be rotten)
