3 to 4 days is a good time frame. Try using it within the shortest time possible. If you have a super-chill drawer, it should keep better for a little longer. If you can't use it within a few days, freezing it will make it last longer. Slice it into smaller pieces and wrap tightly with impermeable wrap or vacuum package to prevent freezer burn. Use it within a few months.
