Frog eggs have a gestation period of around one week, until hatching into tadpoles. However this varies with the particular species of frog.
Actually, a tadpole is what hatches from a frog's eggs. In this part of the frog's life cycle, they grow legs and frog features which can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the type of frog. Bullfrogs can remain tadpoles for up to two years. The tadpole to frog metamorphosis usually takes place in the water and the process is complete when the frog at full adulthood loses its tail. During this transformation most tadpoles go from being gill breathers and vegetarians to air breathers and carnivores because during the process they develop lungs and teeth.

Completely depends on the species and the gender. Male frogs' tympanic membrane is the same size or bigger then the eye. A female's is the same size or smaller then the eye. Bullfrog male made be an inch (2.54 cm) in diameter, and the female of the smallest frog in the world, a New Guinea frog only .27 in (.65 cm) would be only millimeters or less. Hope this long and extensive answer helped. You might want to post another question about a specific species.
