It takes about 3-4 hours for the medication to reach it's peak. Take it with something basic (milk instead of coke or coffee) to improve absorption.
It seems about 30 to 45 minutes. Usually, I find that I know when meds kick in.

Milk commonly has a pH that is within the range of about 6.5-6.7 making it slightly acidic, not basic. Just sayin.

However in general the short-term effects of Adderall begin to be felt within 20 minutes to a half-hour and last anywhere from 3-8 hours, the norm being about 4 hours.
