Yes, Palo Azul has allot of antioxidants in the wood, primarily used for cleansing the kidneys, but can also detox the liver. The best naturepathic approach to cleansing the liver however is using Turmeric spice, walnuts, and three cups of coffee preferably without real cream use cream substitute instead. Hope that helps

∙ 12y agoCodeine is quickly metabolized into morphine, c-6-g, and c-3-g in your liver. Depending on the dosage and the efficiency of your enzymes there will be no codeine left within an hour or two. Palo azul won't effect it. The opioid metabolites are another issue but you didn't ask about them.
