Safe and effective options.

Answer

You have the option of starting the pill on the first day of your period, the sunday after your period, or randomly at any time. If you start the pill the first day of your period, you will not need a back up method (condom, foam etc) If you start it on sunday or any random day, you need to use a condom for a week and after that you should be fine. The instructions that come with the birth control tell you this =] goodluck, i jst started

Answer

Usually you may want to use additional protection for the first month. After that - it's all safe.

Answer

It takes the pill 30 minutes after it is taken to start working. If you have diarehea or you vomit within that time period the pill may not work.

Answer

ok... 30 minutes is completley wrong. sometimes the instructions say that after a week (1 cycle) it should be safe. Doctors have always said one full pack should do the trick... but i do know someone who still got pregnant after taking it for two months. unless you seriously have to go without a condom... consider using a condom every time to ensure that you won't get pregnant.

Answer

Read the instructions in the pack and follow them TO THE LETTER.

Answer

Hello

Birth control pills usually become effective at preventing pregnancy within a month of taking them. During this time you will need to use a condom to prevent pregnancy. If you miss one pill you will need to wear a condom for a week to prevent pregnancy also.

Answer

Actually, you only have to wait for 7 days after you start taking them for them to be fully protected against pregnancy. Clinics and doctors tell you to wait for up to a month because they want you to be careful, but after a week, you will be good to go. All of the information on your BC pills is covered in the information pamphlet that comes with them, so make sure to read and remember it word for word, or it could lead to the pill being less effective. Although I heard you are protected right away if you start taking the pill the Sunday you start your period, I'm not sure whether or not that is scientifically true or not. You may want to do some research.

Answer

Actually, the pill DOES only takes 30 minutes to work IF you take the pill with a glass of milk and then do it doggie style
