I`ve heard that anorexics don't even notice that they are that thin. Im not sure if that's true or not. But as for another person to notice a weight loss on an anorexic persons body wouldn't take very long.
I am 13 and i saw a difference in my size in just 3days.
being anorexic is dangerous, it can lead to many health problems in the future and can also change your emotional state of mind.
hope it helped any way.
It really is different for every person because everyone's body is so diverse. It can be as little as weeks for some and up to years for others. Because there is such a difference in everyone and no 'textbook timetable' or anything, it is important to get EKG's (to make sure your heart is not affected or damaged) regularly. Furthermore, your electrolytes are also a concern, and blood tests are necessary to confirm that they are not too low. Regular checkups with your physician are essential, even if you don't want to 'stop your eating disorder', or you 'don't think it's that bad'.
It doesn't take that long to notice someone who is anorexic. The reason is because they aren't getting any nourishment at all and it can quickly show.
There are safe ways of loosing weight. They are easier and much healthier and don't involve lying to friends and family. If you are really concerned about your weight, talk to your doctor about a program to help you out. In the long run you will be happier, healthier and feel better than trying to be anorexic.
It depends on the people. For some, it may take many, many pounds lost to notice a real difference. For others, a slight 5 pound weight loss may look very drastic.
they were anorexic and bulimic. mary-kate's weight dropped to 82 pounds
Girls are often more concerned with what their bodies look like and whether or not they are pretty and appealing to guys. Most guys don't worry about weight as long as they are not obese. They focus more on muscle because guys generally don't like to look scrawny, and becoming anorexic would make them look scrawny.
Exercise and gradual diet change which works in to your life - not making huge changes.
Not long, and not well: they need medical and psychiatric help immediately.
How long you can be a purely restrictive anorexic without binging or dying depends entirely on the person, their intake, vital signs, medical history etc etc
Paying attention to your weight loss is discouraged by most experts in weight loss. You should start noticing changes in your waist size even before you notice weight loss.
It may take too long. The body will go into 'starvation mode' where it will hold onto all of the body's fat that it can and the person may die before they see 'anorexic looking' weight loss. The stomach then gets bloated and the person will look very pregnant. The the body will start digesting the muscles, then the intestines, which will kill you if your heart doesn't fail you first. It's not worth it. Lose the weight the way you gained it, gradually.
Absolutely not. Your body gains weight when it thinks that you need it. In other words, you gain weight when your body thinks you are starving. If you are starving yourself, you will gain weight. The best thing to do is take a hour long walk everyday and eat a handful of food every hour; so your body feels that it has no need to have a surplus.
yes they can still have a period, but not for long, if the anorexia goes untreated.
yes you sure can
