Depends on what's been injured in the thigh. A minor bruise should heal quickly as there's a lot of blood flow to the thigh. A deep contusion or bruise on the muscle may take as much as a month to 6 weeks, if it's large and deep enough -- large muscle invovled. If the bone is bruised -- longer. The femur can take a lot of damage without breaking, but that damage would still have to heal. Connective tissue -- depends on the injury and how well you treat it (which would typically include physical therapy).

Cuts, surgical incisions, etc. should heal comparatively quickly, again because of the blood flow.
