I don't suggest you do this, because it is harming life, and you wouldn't like it if it was done to you.
Anyway, you probably can if you keep it in a dome, although this may be death from starvation or dehydration, not necessarily suffocation.
to answer above^:Then please come on down and take all of our fleas no really take them all then.
Harming life? FLEAS harm life (disease carriers) Im using a mixture of food grade diatomaceous earth, salt, boric acid, and sulfur
It may take a while. Possibly a few weeks. My suggestion is pick a day where nobody is in the house or outside the house. on that day. spray your yard(and the inside of your house if necessary)but spray EVERYTHING. then wait a few hours and come back
This is a great answer, I just want to add... Fleas hatch every 10 to 15 days. I suggest you treat the yard every week for one month then every two weeks on the second month and then every month thereafter. You should do the same in your home, even if the dogs have not been in the home as you could carry a flea or two into the home on your clothes or shoes. Also: The eggs can wait to hatch until it is warm. If you have the A/C on very cold, you may not see a flea, but when the heater comes on you are invaded. So, when you treat your home, turn the heater on! Being a dog trainer, I learned fast about fleas! Also: if you are in the country and you have rabbits around, they can keep fleas around as well as stray cats.
