How long does it take to lose weight if you starve yourself? |

Eeek...starving? I tried starving myself for two weeks and got weak, dizzy, and almost pass out. I'm in my mid-30's. I drank water and take vitamins but those will NOT help you if you continue to starve. I lost 20 lbs in 2 months.. I used to weigh 192 lbs last year December, and weighed 167 lbs these early months ago, now I'm currently weigh 147 lbs (still maintaining for a while) and going down. Eat salads daily, drink water, juice and exercise until you get back on the track of being slim. I'm going back on a track again..grrrr but better than before. It won't hurt to lose 3 to 5 lbs per week. I eat salads, fruits, drink water and V-8/fruit juices. Soda is out of question because it will cause kidney/bladder stones and headaches (if you're on diet) and it holds up fluids making you gain more and drool more food despite it says 0 calories for Diet sodas. Drink green tea or obloong tea morning, it will help your burning system to go up while you do some chores. Better slash the calories down..I hate calories..
Didn't bother me with these I use. But remember, it's every individual, no two are alike in a pod. Not everyone is the same. Each has a different metabolism stage. Of course, you may notice that lady is soo slim and hardly gain weight despite she eats a lot. Forget that teen metabolism myth, it can go up to the old age. I read the health book back in HS stating that our metabolism rate will go down as we age, naahhh, how can this woman who is 40 years old and still slim since she was a teen and gobbles up the goodies, she uses moderate exercise or just doing the chores. Consider her a lucky woman, since her metabolism is still high in her age.

Answer
If you taking about consuming only water and vitamins, then I lost about 15 lbs in 4 days. It's different with everyone though. Hope I've helped.
