How long have you been sewing? To make a perfectly tailored silk shirt takes about 8-12 hours for an intermediate seamstress. Be sure to have silk pins, a small needle, and lots of patience. Use non fusable interfacing because the bonding stuff will ruin the material. Remember to pin, pin, pin! And then pin some more because silk is so very slippery. It might even be best to baste the pieces by hand.
