Instead of giving you a long drawn out answer, I will provide you with a link to the information. http://www.jerky.com/, go to the How Jerky is Made link on the left side of the page to find out everything you need to know about storing it safely away.
Hopefully this helped.
Peace.
1000 years why would anyone want to eat beef jerky for the rest of their lives?
Tell them you'll bye the beef jerky
Make certain you have life jackets and a flare gun just in case. I take beef jerky and a gallon of water when me and the boys go fishing.
Food that wouldn't go bad quickly like they would put salt on their meat so that would make beef jerky
Only if it is commercially packaged (e.g. beef jerky, candies or chocolate in its original package).
This isn't an official answer as I am looking for just that now but on one forum I just read, someone said it's about 3 to 1 or 3 pounds of beef equals about 1 pound of jerky. I'm gonna make my own today and will update with an answer when I know for sure. Also, keep in mind, it's not a static number, different types of meat and probably even different meat of the same cut won't always have the exact same same fresh to dehydrated weight ratio but I am sure there is a generalized number where it's always a little more or a little less then x to y. Hope this helps.
There is nothing you can eat and no drug you can take that will increase your penis size. Don't fall for the hype, all it will do is empty your wallet.
It takes about 5 hours for chicken and turkey to dehydrate at 150-200 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven. It takes about 4-7 hours for beef to dehydrate in the oven. It takes 12-72 hours under 150 degrees Fahrenheit in a smoker. It can take up to 18 hours in a radiant food dehydrator. In a regular food dehydrator it can take about 8 hours.
