You should always give an antibiotic 3-4 days to "kick in" because the infection is getting worse until the antibiotic builds up in your system enough to start killing enough off to make you feel better. If you don't feel much better by Day 4-5, see your doctor for a different antibiotic.

And remember - always take ALL of the antibiotics to kill all of the infection!
