Lice cannot survive off the human head for more than 24-36 hours (they need the warmth and blood to survive). So there is a possibility that within that time period they can be on your pillows, head rest, couch, car seat or chair, combs, hair brush, jacket etc.
Use Fairytales L/I conditioning Spray on all of the items mentioned above it can be sprayed on your child's hair every morning before school and on his/her backpack, clothing, etc. You can also spray it on bedding or any material thing. This stuff works I use it on my children's hair everyday.

∙ 12y agoAdult lice can only live 1 or 2 days away from a warm body, and the eggs must be close to the warm scalp in order to hatch. They feed on human blood through tiny bites in the skin.
