Pre-Employment can take sometime, depending on the type of job you are looking for or applying for. Example. If you were applying to work at the White House sweeping the floors, there are different Government agencies who would check you out to find out if you ever had a criminal record or not and if you did have a record, for what? If the job you are applying for is not so much as a High Level Security job then your wait shouldn't be too long.
