Vyvanse has been shown in clinical trials to last from 12 hours to upwards of 14 hours. The amount varies for each individual.
Possibly the first time you take it. Different variables come in to play, for example, if you eat before taking then the effect can be cut in half, if not almost neutralized entirely. Digestion plays a major role in the outcome of the effect with this medication. To gain the full effect, take it before you eat, but drink some soda or eat a candy bar through out to help give your body some energy, milk works very well in helping settle your stomach, since you won't have an appetite for hours after taking this. Just aswell you"ll probably not going to be sleeping when you first begin taking it. Its better to allow your body to gradually become a custom to it, after a few weeks to a month or so, your appetite while taking this medication should improve. As with any narcotic, self-control and common sense is key. Trust me, I know about it all to well !!

∙ 15y ago2 to 3 days at most I've takin 3 of my RX vivanse in a day and did not show up a day and a half later and they are 70mg but milage may vary up to 3 days.

No, it is not recommended. The highest daily dose is 70mg; taken shortly after awakening in the morning. This level of dosage (70mg) is reached after a month or more of slight (10mg) weekly increases to build up to the 70mg dose. Taking 100mg at once would be incredibly dangerous and even if you spread the doses apart (i.e. 8 am and 1 pm) it would be just as dangerous because of Vyvanse's long half-life.
