Cuba is a communist country that has had some hardships with fidel castro. they have a largly command economy that consists of the sugarcane industry. it has a particularly large percentage in the literacy rate section of a whoping amount of 99.8% of peaople can read and write. although the country is poor and unskilled it manages to become a great trading partner to the Soviet Union. it has a GDP ( Gross Demestic Product) of 55,180. the country will hopfuly recover from a long dictator ruling.

By then the Soviets and the Americans were too heavily involved and hundreds of thousands of Cubans began to defect and migrate.
